Helen Thorington is a writer and radio artist who has pioneered not only broadcast work but Net Art as well. Real to Reel collects four pieces that abstract her typical use of language. The pieces found in the collection range from standalone sonic narratives, to soundtracks, multi-media works and musique concrète. The work on Real to Reel is delicate and intricate, floating between the narrative and the abstract.
