Edgard Varèse: The One Alone is an expedition to the life and work of the French–American composer Edgard Varèse (1883-1965), a composer who made Frank Scheffer, become fascinated by music made in the 20th century. Varèse was a visionary composer who turned around the term of music completely and was the first composer who looked for a way to indicate other sounds than the defined tone altitudes. The film unveils the mystery behind this alchemist in sound.
